At Sunrise Logistics and Four Seasons Produce, we are proud to be part of a pilot initiative called The Supply Chain of the Future. This collaboration brings together leading industry partners to explore how freshness, transparency, and data can work together to strengthen every link in the supply chain from growers, retailers, and consumers.
The goal of this project is simple: to build a smarter, more connected fresh supply chain where data helps ensure quality, reduce waste, and increase trust between partners. We are in the early stages of testing and learning, identifying what works, and creating a model that others can adopt across the industry.
At the recent Supply Chain of the Future event at the 2025 International Fresh Produce Association Global Produce & Floral Show, project partners demonstrated how data and collaboration can bring measurable value to everyone involved. Jack Lagier at Driscoll’s, one of the key collaborators, shared their perspective on the importance of using freshness indicators and shared data to improve outcomes for both businesses and consumers.
